Today we bring you inspiration from some of the trends that are going to be seen in interior design this year.
1. Inclusion of new neutral colours
Apart from white and grey, which we are already very familiar with, earthy colours such as cream beige and taupe appear. These tones give the rooms a warmer and cosier touch.
2. Bathrooms introduce more modern tiles
They are brightly coloured tiles. As well as experimenting with the way they are laid. We recommend you take a look at our tile laying ideas blog.
3. Some illustrated tiles are going to be trendy, such as the floral ones
In addition to geometric hydraulic tiles, which were already fashionable in the past.
4. Spa type bathrooms are covered with imitation marble and stone tiles
This type of bathroom is a must, they are covered with marble and stone tiles that provide that much desired sensation in a frenetic world. We recommend porcelain tiles imitating marbles and stones because they have great advantages in wet areas. If you have doubts about these benefits, we recommend you to read our post about the differences between natural materials and imitation tiles.
5. Imitation wood tiles and marble
Thanks to technological advances, the differences with the original materials are almost imperceptible.
6. Wood or imitation wood strips
Inspired by the seventies, already present in 2023, but in 2024 it is reaffirmed providing spaces with a more welcoming touch.
7. The pink tone, due to the boom of the Barbie film
This colour is introduced in interior spaces but in a softer way, as powdered pink tones. We can see tiles for bathrooms, or tiles for kitchens and children's rooms.
8. Pepper black
We will find it, mainly, on walls contrasting with more neutral colours such as beige or cream that we mentioned before. We can see it as tiles for the living room or dining room.
9. Rise of communal spaces and lifestyles such as colivings and coworkings
10. Minimalism
Related to number 1, but less cold than the one we knew, more comfortable with earthy tones.
