Commercial interior design is a branch of interior design that focuses on creating attractive and functional environments in commercial spaces such as shops, restaurants, offices and other businesses.
The aim of this branch of design is to maximise the profitability of the space, create a good customer experience and reflect the brand of the business.
An example of a style within interior design might be the concept of comfort design. It is characterised by the use of soft, rounded shapes, natural materials, curved contours, creating a cosy atmosphere, reinforcing the feeling of protection. We would use wood effect tiles, neutral shades of cement imitation ceramic tiles and rectangular hydraulic tiles in soft tones.
The exuberant minimalism helps to attract customers, creating fun and energetic spaces, but with touches of softness. Colours are rendered simply, solid and untextured, yet contrasting. Small-piece ceramic tiles in different colours will be used in a rigorous combination.
Shops inspired by art galleries, minimalist, relaxed and spacious atmospheres. This style of interior design is very interesting in terms of constructing a narrative beyond the sales product. The tiles used are those of larger sizes that provide luminosity and spaciousness to the spaces. Marble, stone and cement effect, mainly.
And finally, the style of the material shop where a palette of simple materials, natural, warm and neutral colours predominate. The textures of the materials are also important when it comes to transmitting sensations typical of nature. Ceramic tiles with graphics such as cements in warm tones, stones and de-toned hydraulic tiles are used in this style of interior design.
And with these examples that highlight the functionality of the spaces with adequate lighting and storage space we finish the tips and recommended styles to help make your business a success.
