Slip resistance classes refer to the ability of a ceramic tile to provide good traction and reduce the risk of slips and falls, especially in wet or slippery areas.
These levels are classified into four categories:
Without R or Class 0: Mainly used as wall tiles. They are rarely used for flooring.

R9 or Class 1: Used in areas with low slip risk. These are smooth surface tiles, suitable for dry, low-traffic rooms like bedrooms, hallways or waiting areas.

R10 or Class 2: Used in spaces with moderate slip risk. These tiles are slightly textured and are ideal for humid areas like kitchens, bathrooms or staircases.

R11 or Class 3: Recommended for areas with a high slip risk. These tiles have a very textured surface and are perfect for showers, pools or outdoor spaces exposed to rain or snow.
